He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sr. Diest and Dorothy Diest (Wyand); and his brother Harry. He is survived by: his wife Karen Stanczyk; his children, Sheila Reed and Jason Diest (Kate Rehard); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Kristi, Gabrielle, Nathan, Kristian, Kaitlyn, Kayden and Kendall; his great grandchildren, Avery and Aspen; his mother-in-law Alice Mankie; and his sisters, Eleanor Popovich, Carol Jean Fogle (Barry), Dottie Robinson, Deborah Vanyo and Barbara Schrock (Lynn).

Masks and social distancing required.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Assoc.
