With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bruce David Gaylinn of Louisa, Virginia, born in Queens, New York, who passed away on July 13, 2021 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Helen Gaylinn and Marvin Gaylinn; his wife Sandie Gaylinn; his son Nathan Gaylinn; and his sister Renee Ritter.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions be sent to the Myeloma Foundation or the Hospice of the Piedmont.

“To the Family, I knew Bruce for about 20 years when I would come to do some service work on a piece of equipment in his lab at UVA. I came by this year for the same service and saw that he was not there. I knew he was battling the illness that he apparently succumbed to. I admired his positivity in spite of his illness. In my brief encounters with him, I always found him to be a pleasant person to do work for. I was sorry to hear the news and am sorry for your loss. Kurt Thompson Job 14:14,15”
