She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Sharpe and Eva Sharpe; her husband Richard Eugene Shiflett; her daughter Diane Shiflett; her stepdaughter Pam Talley; and her stepgrandson Jason King.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Shiflett King (Stephen Hopkins); her grandchildren, Garyt King (Whitney Perkins) and Kaitlyn King; her stepgranddaughter Kelly King; her son-in-law Ike King; her stepchildren, Sherry Solowow and Richard "Van" Shiflett (Karen); her son Kelly Carter (Charleen); her sister-in-law Elizabeth Watson; and her pet Abby.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hillcrest Cemetery (175 Oak Leaf Dr, Louisa, VA 23093).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Hospice of the Piedmont.
