It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Hix of Louisa, Virginia, who passed away on May 28, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Charles F. Glass, Jr.; her brother Robert W. Glass; and her former husband Roger W. Hix. She is survived by: her mother Gladys J. Glass; her children, Lisa Hix-Bowling (Wayne) and Charles Hix (Tammy); her granddaughters, Ashley Rigsby and Brooke Hix; her great grandchild Addison Rigsby; her siblings, James Glass, Marlyn Dawson and Amy Breeden; and her close friend Gilbert Vineyard. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
