He is survived by: his wife Katherine Wright Hedges; his daughters, Kelley Gilreath (Jason) and Katherine Newman (Donnie); and his siblings, Tommy Smith, Gary Hedges, Logan Hedges (Christina), Roman Hedges and Celia Ann Tresemer.
