He was predeceased by: his parents, James Aquilla Keyser and Olive Wilmore Keyser; and his brothers, Loren J. Keyser and Norman A. Keyser. He is survived by: his wife Laura "Ruth" Edwards Keyser; his daughters, Sharon Ruth Keyser (Phillip Brooks Hylemon), Janice Keyser Sherman (Christopher J. Sherman) and Lisa Keyser Peters (Roy Donald Peters); his grandchildren, Skylar Javin Sherman, Sonya Aubrey Sherman, Robert Donald Peters, Charles Reed Peters and Andrew Chandler Peters; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Edwards Gootee. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Coan Baptist Church (2068 Coan Stage Rd, Heathsville, VA 22473). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
