She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Lee Jenkins and Frances Hamilton Jenkins of Virginia; her sister Dale DeLeon; and her half-brother Joe Jenkins. She is survived by: her husband Donald "Wayne" King; her children, Robin Renee Jenkins of Callao and Timothy Alan King (Dani Talley) of Tappahannock; her grandson Keith "K. J." Ball, Jr.; her brother Larry Jenkins (Glenda); and her half-brothers, Johnnie, Olin, Charles, Danny, Jaime Jenkins and Kayden Tate.
