She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Asher Simms and Elsie Louise Brown Simms. She is survived by: her sister Rebecca L. Simms of Frederick, MD; her nephews, Jon Frizzell and Andrew Frizzell (Brenna); and her niece Susan Tucci (Andrew) of Frederick, MD.
