It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Florine Winifred Headley of Lottsburg, Virginia, born in Farmville, Virginia, who passed away on March 8, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Wilson Crowder and Cornelia Ferguson Crowder; her husband Harry Travers Headley; her great grandchild Landon; and her siblings, Jamie Crowder, Allen Crowder, LeRoy Crowder and Pauline C. Morris.
She is survived by: her children, Joan Headley Streets (Dennis), Jane Headley Crowther (Prosser), Debra Headley Koren (Richard) and Harry "H. T." Travers Headley, Jr. (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Melissa Bates (Anthony), Laura Bates (Jason), Eric Streets (Denise), Jill Crabbe, Jessica Brann (Matthew), Jennah Fisher (Eric), Brooke Kessler, Trey Crowther, Ryan Cohill (Amanda), Tim Cohill (Steffanie), Michael Koren (Sophia), Elizabeth Conrad (Sam) and Travers Headley III (Faith); her great grandchildren, Monty, Naomi, Sadie, Kate, Alexis (Monty), Amaya, Taylor, Connor, Michael, Jace, Aria, Julian, Nora, Harper, Aubrey, Logan, Wyatt, Veronica, Mason, Parker, Robbie, Ella and Travers IV; her great great grandchildren, Emersyn and Brooks; and her sister-in-law Anne Crowder. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Melrose United Methodist Church (1317 Lewisetta Rd, Lottsburg, VA 22511). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
