He is survived by: his wife Mabel Wallace Stone; his sons, Sam Stone, Jr. of Lynchburg and Billy Wallace of Hurt; his siblings, Ray Stone (JoAnn) of Long Island, James Stone of Lynchburg, Carrie Gallagher of Lynchburg and Mildred Mitchell of Lynchburg; his grandchildren, Will Wallace of Lynchburg and Julia Wallace of Lynchburg; and his great grandchild Josephine Wallace of Lynchburg. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
