It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Irving Crews of Long Island, Virginia, who passed away on October 27, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Crews and Lillian A. Crews; and his brothers, James Crews of Long Island and Ronald Crews of Long Island. He is survived by: his wife Betty R. Crews; his son Randy L. Crews (Debbie) of Long Island; his grandchildren, Brad L. Crews (Jennifer) of Long Island and Hollie M. Crews of Long Island; his great grandchildren, Savannah Crews of Long Island and Sydney Crews of Long Island; his siblings-in-law, J. B. Roberts (Sandra) of Danville, Jerry Roberts (Cynthia) of Danville, Michael Roberts (Debbie) of Danville, Shirley R. Parker (Tyrone) of Ocala, FL and Jane A. Crews of Long Island; and his nieces and nephews, Kevin Parker (Monica) of Iowa, Wayne Crews of Long Island, Barry Roberts of Danville, Brian Roberts of Waynesboro, Kecia Ballantyne (Chris) of Michigan, Stacey McCormick of Danville, Kelly Hodges of North Carolina and Jenny Hudson of North Carolina.
