He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Brooks and Estella Pringle Brooks. He is survived by: his sons, Carlos Braxton (Sharon) of Wilmington, NC and Michael Braxton (Karen) of Wilmington, NC; his grandsons, Christopher, Kenneth and Gaberiel Braxton; his siblings, Thomas Lee Brooks of Lynchburg, Linda M. Brooks and Ruby L Hall (Curtis) of Long Island; and his aunts, Louise McCrae of New York, NY and Minnie Pearl Flood of Arlington, TX. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
