He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurston Hall and Mazzie Carr Hall; his wife Jessie Rosser Hall; his son Cellus R. Hall; his great grandchild Julian Arrington; and his siblings, Surella Brooks, Florence Jackson, Adell Slayton, Cellus Hall, Walter Hall, Ernest Hall, Haywood Hall and Hubert Hall.
He is survived by: his children, Norma Tucker (Michael), Arnell Smith (Cedric), Geraldine "Toot" Hall and Jack Nathaniel Hall of Long Island, Virginia; his uncle Dennis Hall (Helen); his niece Gladys Garvin; and his cousin Irean Clark. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
