He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Doughty and Gertrude Doughty; his wife Margaret Ann Doughty; and his siblings, Evelyn Brucker, Dorothy Heffner, Jessie Wallenberg, Bernice Saucer, Marian Justice, Sally Shreeve, Mary Kay Schettler, Earl, Robert "Dale" and Darrell.
He is survived by: his children, Glenn Doughty (Beth) of Locust Grove, VA and Joyce Keeler (James) of Charlotte, NC; his sister Eula Mae Mattern (Ken); and his granddaughters, Lori Keeler, Jamie Keeler, Nia McClaugherty (Chris) and Brenna Doughty. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
