He was predeceased by: his parents, Manford G. Sampso and Lillian Sampso; his sister Mary Ann Joyce; and his brother-in-law Christopher Troy Weedon. He is survived by: his wife Melissa; his children, Michael and Lilyann; his siblings, Robert Sampson (Brenda) and Violet Stout (Jack); his sister-in-law Zena Weedon; and also Cody. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews as well as great nieces and nephews and cousins.

Tom was not a flower person, so he wanted anyone that can to make donations for, Altzhiemers research, The Kidney Foundations, Heart Associations and Cancer research.
