It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lewis Meador Jr. (Locust Grove, Virginia), born in Alexandria, Virginia, who passed away on January 31, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lewis M. Meador and Gladys A. Meador (Figgatt); his wife Nellie Jean Tabor; his daughters, Doris Jones (James "Butch"), Sharon Kotchetovsky (Scott) and Sue Yenyo (Alex); his sisters, Marcella Schelhammer and Marvis Maffeo (Tom); his son Clark; and his grandson Scott. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
