He was predeceased by: his siblings, Marie Leone, Pete, Jack, Charlie and Bobby; and also Donald Schluter.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Susan DeBuck (Don), Richard Spero (Lisa) and Steve Spero (Robyn); and also, Doris Schluter and Lois Long (Jim). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
