He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur A. Amlaner and Mary Eleanor Roach Amlaner; his sons, John Matthew Amlaner and Joseph A. Amlaner; and his granddaughter Rachel Lee Swink.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Amlaner; his daughter Janet E. Swink (Vernon); his grandchildren, Vernon R. Jr. (Tiffany), Joseph C. (Jannah) and Amanda E. Serpas (Raul); his daughter Jill A. Henderson (Timothy); his grandchildren, Scott M. (Amanda) and Mary E. Sebera (Justin); his daughter Jacqueline M. Johnson (Alton); his grandsons, Dillon G. (Jackie), Garret D. (Madalyn) and Walker B; his daughter-in-law Elizabeth Amlaner; his grandchildren-in-law, Kevin C. (Chelsey), Karen E. and Kristin E.; and his grandson John M. Amlaner (Melissa). He is also survived by 31 beautiful great-grandchildren.
