He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Lewis and Beatrice Lewis; his siblings, Robert, George, Ruth Ann and Katherine Ann; and his stepbrother Jimmy Jett.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Lewis and Karen Lewis Smith; his sister Sarah Oakes; his granddaughters, Britney Sullivan (Danny) and Lauren Wible; and his great grandchild Ryker. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
