As James Franklin departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved James Franklin. Though James Franklin may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his fiancée Georgette Ferrell; his parents, Winnie Dodson and Jesse Woolfrey; and his siblings, Jesse Woolfrey, Mae Armentrout and Dorothy Dodson.
He is survived by: his sister Eva Allen; his children, Linda Overend of Spotsylvania, VA, Victoria Sylver of Marlow Heights, MD, Rosa Slape of Villa Ridge, MO and Joseph Woolfrey of Fredericksburg, VA.; and his pet Rocky. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren.
