He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Elmer Coffey and Bertha Woody Coffey; his stepson Mason Gray, Jr.; and his brothers, Larry and Stephen Coffey.
He is survived by: his wife Daisy Coffey; his children, Michele Ralls (Tex), Tasha Carratura and Tina Pritchett (Mark); and his sister Barbara Utz. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
