He was predeceased by: his former wife Phyllis Cook Meadows; his parents, Victor Noel and Donna Mae Meadows; his brothers, William "Farmer" Meadows and Gilven Meadows; and his sisters-in-law, Nila Meadows and Margaret Meadows.
He is survived by: his wife Tootsie C. Meadows; his children, Pamela Francis (Tim) and Berman James; his siblings, Frederick Meadows (Nancy), David Meadows (Janice), Victor Meadows (Sara) and Nola Turner; his sister-in-law Betty Meadows; and his grandchildren, Tim Francis (Michelle), Ryan Francis (Candace), Tammi Bonacorda (Patrick) and Melissa Alvarez (JR). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
