We are sad to announce that on December 30, 2021, at the age of 69, Arthur Ray Carey of Locust Grove, Virginia, born in Charlottesville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Carey and Annie Bell Carey; and his siblings, John Daniel, Henry Wallace, Leroy, William, Joe, Laura Askew, Florence Marshall, Julia Armistead, Shelvia Richards and Mary Campbell.

He is survived by: his siblings, Jacob Carey (Gloria) and Mardi Street. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
