In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Arthur Everett had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Arthur Everett may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Darrow Griggs and E. Wayne Griggs; and his brother George Griggs (late Joan C. Griggs). He is survived by: his wife Roberta Griggs; and his children, Richard Griggs (Jeanette), Margaret "Peggy" Withers (Gene) and Amy Drummond (James). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Woods Church (1 Church Ln, Locust Grove, VA 22508). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
