It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Whetzel (Linville, Virginia), who passed away on March 5, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Whetzel to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Allen and Ressie Pearl Whetzel; and his siblings, Warren Whetzel and Judy Mohler. He is survived by: his spouse Elaine Hill; his children, Anna Joseph (David) of Hinton and William Whetzel Jr. (Robin) of Singers Glen; his sister Betty Curry of Broadway; his grandchildren, Amanda Thomas (Tyler), Rachel Bucher (Joseph) and Blake Whetzel; and his great grandchildren, Knox Thomas and Liam Bucher.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Whetzel Family, 12941 Hollar School Road, Linville, VA 22834 to help offset unexpected medical expenses.
