He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezra Thomas and Evaline Peachey Kauffman; his wife Julie Grace Yoder Kauffman; his brothers-in-law, Mahlon Shrock and Benjamin Byler; and his son-in-law Jim Glanzer.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Leaman (Jay), Sherrill Glanzer, Joel Kauffman (Ariana), Regina Barajas (Rudy) and Ruby Hostetler (Larion); his sisters, Marian Byler and Irene Shrock; and his grandchildren, Janelle Leaman, Jared Leaman, Marshall Glanzer, Murray Glanzer, Monte Glanzer, Sarah Kauffman Boyts, Michael Kauffman, Alexis Suvanto, Kathryn Leonard, Madeline Martinez and Erin LeClair. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
