He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Showalter and Naomi Rohrer Showalter. He is survived by: his son Max Showalter; his grandson Miles Showalter; and his siblings, Harry Showalter of Rockingham, VA and Josie Showalter of Rockingham, VA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
