It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Howard D. Hartman of Linville, Virginia, born in Shenandoah, Virginia, who passed away on April 20, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Ervin and Lenore Crider Hartman; and his brothers, George W. Hartman and Charles E. Hartman. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Showalter Hartman; and his children, Sallie Hartman Rohrer (Jay) of Dayton, Joseph H. Hartman (Donna) of Linville and James E. Hartman (Ramona) of Broadway. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren.
Per CDC requirements, social distancing and masks will be required at the funeral home, the graveside, and church.
