Helen Minnick Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Minnick of Linville, Virginia, born in Fort Seybert, West Virginia, who passed away on March 15, 2021 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen Minnick to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Nesselrodt and Tressie Mitchell Nesselrodt; her siblings, Mae Dove, David Nesselrodt and Steve Nesselrodt; her stepson Calvin Minnick, Jr.; and her stepgrandson Chris Ritchie.

She is survived by: her husband Calvin "Bill" Minnick; her sons, Earl C. Litten of Harrisonburg and Keith Litten (Kelley) of Harrisonburg; her stepson Allen Minnick (Shelia) of Rockbridge; her siblings, Kathryn Beck of Broadway, Carolyn Rothwell of Harrisonburg, V. W. Nesselrodt of Mt. Crawford, Jarrett Nesselrodt (Linda) of Harrisonburg and Lowell Nesselrodt (Sharon) of Broadway; her sister-in-law Sharon Nesselrodt of Harrisonburg; and her grandchildren, Tawnia Litten, Jason Litten (Kelley), Kyle Litten (Brieanna), Spencer Litten (Dakota) and Terry Reel. She is also survived by three step grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one step great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

Social distancing guidelines will be followed and masks are required. Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, a private funeral service will be held for family and close friends.
