He was predeceased by: his parents, Henrietta Mallory and Dabney Overton, Sr.; and his son Dabney Overton, III. He is survived by: his wife Donna Miller Overton; his daughters, Mallory Overton McKendry of Staunton and Hannah Overton Tiffany of Warsaw, VA; his sister Annie Haile of Portland, OR; and his granddaughters, Emma Taylor, Lizzie Schmidt and Maybelle Duguet.
