She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Hopkins Jr. and Mamie Charlotte Payne Bridges; her daughter Jennifer Ann Stroop; and her brother Freddie Bridges. She is survived by: her husband Dennis Wayne Stroop; her sons, Timothy Allen Stroop (Sherry) of Singers Glen, Randy Dale Stroop (Sissy) of Timberville and Christopher Charles Stroop (Emily) of Singers Glen; her siblings, Brenda Justice (Tommy) of Harrisonburg, Debbie Troutman (Freddie) of Rockingham and Larry Bridges (Jennifer) of Harrisonburg; her sister-in-law Donna Bridges Cubbage of Rockingham; and her granddaughters, Kaitlyn Stroop, Rebekah Stroop, Bethany Stroop, Sophia Stroop, Olivia Stroop and Tara Garber (Aaron). She is also survived by four nephews; six nieces; and several great nieces and nephews.
