Though Opal may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Bee and Fannie Breeden; and her husband Columbus M. Heflin. She is survived by: her son Marshall "Steve" Heflin; and her grandson Marcus Heflin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
