He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sylvia, Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Caylor Sylvia; and his brother Glenn Sylvia. He is survived by: his significant other Margie Christian; his daughter Jamie Ballard (Geoff); his grandson Lucas Ballard; his siblings, Brian Sylvia (Anne Berry), Curtis Sylvia (Colleen), Monica Quinn (Ken) and Dianne Engelhardt (Karl); his sister-in-law Lisa Sylvia; his nephews, Michael Ward of Sammie Englehardt, K. J, Sean Quinn and Derek Berry; and his niece Elizabeth Sylvia.
