We are sad to announce that on April 2, 2021, at the age of 70, Joan Brown of Lignum, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Elmer Lucas Jr. and Gladys Mae Umhau. She is survived by: her husband Robert T. Brown; her children, Sheila M. Williams, Edward Allen Jenkins, Lorraine Bowman (John Bowman), Robert Brown Jr. and Renee Brown; her siblings, Philip Michael Lucas (Carol Lucas), Linda Montgomery (Gene Montgomery), Jean Marshall (Carl Marshall) and Fran Wilson; and her pets, Harley and Gee. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
