He was predeceased by: his parents, William Curtis Nichols, Sr. and Mary Cook Nichols. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn S Nichols; his children, John Anthony Southers, Stanley Coffey, Jr., Shannon Nichols Pruitt, Stacy Nichols Newton and Ashleigh Elizabeth Nichols; and his grandchildren, Chase Southers, Trevor Singleton, Dale Singleton, Daniel Singleton and Jonathan Lambert.
