He is survived by: his brother Wayne Chapman of Martinsburg, WVA.; his son Brady Chapman (Kristen); his grandchildren, Calvin, Joslyn and Lillian of Bradenton, FL; his daughter Lindsey Frye (Jay Frye); and his grandchildren, Jake, Kaylee, Anna and Sam.

“Bill was our neighbor for many years, at our river house on the Potomac River. He was a kind and friendly gentleman who loved his family and frequently invited his kids and grandkids down and enjoyed watching them frolic on the pier and in the water. He would participate in fishing and crabbing and could be seen with a wide smile on his face. Bill would stop bye frequently for a chat and one could enjoy his intelligence and humor. We will greatly miss Bill and my wife and I send our condolences”
