She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben F. Cross and Lena M. Brown; and her husband Calvin C. Grimes. She is survived by: her children, Tommy (Lydia Grimes), Diane (Roger Combs) and John Grimes; and her sister Geraldine. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
