It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rufus Applegate Campbell (Leesburg, Virginia), who passed away on November 25, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tunis Sr. and Nola. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jane (Tribby); his sons, Keith Alan and Stephen Bruce; his grandchildren, Joshua A. Campbell (Molly), Jamie Campbell, Tara S. Holton (Ed) and Mark W. Campbell (Carlyle); and his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Nolan and Evi.
In lieu of flowers, we would like to collect donations to disperse to the great grandkids: Evelyn (Danny), Nolan (Tara), and Evi (Josh). Checks can be made out to Raymond James (financial institution) or cash donations collected.
