She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Howze and Rubie Howze; her husband James; her granddaughter Victoria Moore; and her nephew Phillip Norris.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Raye (William) of Leesburg, VA and James (Vandina) of San Antonio, TX; her grandchildren, Courtney (George), Lesleigh (Raymond) and Nicholas; her great grandchildren, Julia, Eli, Georgie and Leo; her sister Helen Tention of Philadelphia, MS; her nieces, Mary and Shirley; and her nephew Marvin.
