He was predeceased by: his sister Amy Edwards; his father-in-law MSgt Gary T. (Ret); his grandparents, James, Ruby Edwards, Robert Lasher, Abe and Julie Greenblatt; his uncles, Michael Lasher, Ron Greenblatt, Monty Meeks and Wesley Jagers; and his aunt Janice Meeks.
He is survived by: his wife Mai Edwards (Jagers); his running buddy Rusty; his close friend Snickers; his parents, Ronald W. Edwards, Sr. and Linda Lasher Edwards of Ashburn, VA; his mother-in-law Ut Jagers of Homestead; his sister Melanie Quinonez of Ashburn, VA; his brothers-in-law, Dean Jagers (Trang) of Homestead, Gene Jagers (Michelle) of Tallahassee and Jerry Jagers of Homestead; and his aunts and uncles, Robert Lasher (Sonya) of Benbrook, Timothy Lasher (Lara) of Lovettsville, VA, Risa Decatur (Mike) of Fredericksburg, VA, Calvin Edwards (Vicki) of Ormond Beach, Diana Mays (Herbert) of Clearbrook, VA, Linda Rives (James) of Roaring Gap, NC and Karen Tiffany (Syd) of Culpeper, VA..
