He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Stewart Hannahs and John Henry Hannahs; his significant other Jan Hannahs; and his daughter Kimberly Hannahs. He is survived by: his daughter Joylyn Hannahs (Edward Riccobene); and his grandchildren, Georgia and Nolan Riccobene.
