She was predeceased by: her brothers, Richard Paul Steffes and James Edward Steffes (Jim). She is survived by: her husband James Gordon Hermes; her grandchildren, Christopher Sardo (Erin Lockwood), Thomas Sardo (Lindsey Roivas), Peter Sardo, Jack Sardo (Adrianna), Antonia, Hana and Cathryn; her great grandchildren, Josephine Sardo, Meredith Sardo, Madison Sardo and Ember Sardo; and her parents, Harold Edward Steffes and Adelaide Cecilia Steffes (Wunderlich). She is also survived by three children: Sister.
A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Theresa Catholic Church (21371 St Theresa Ln, Ashburn, VA 20147).
Until the onset of Alzheimer's, she and Gordon traveled, and Pat took up panting icons.
