With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Judith Kay Ahalt of Leesburg, Virginia, born in Christiansburg, Virginia, who passed away on November 3, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Judith is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Judith's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Beryl Whetzel and James Graham. She is survived by: her siblings, Patricia Bigden and Marquita Staley (James Graham); her son Steffan Ahalt (Kathy Ahalt); her granddaughters, Taylor Schafer and Sydney Ahalt; her nephew Darryl Beans; her former husband William H. Ahalt Jr.; and her sister-in-law Patricia Mentzer.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel (158 Catoctin Cir SE, Leesburg, VA 20175).
In accordance with Judy's wishes, the family invites donations to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers, to help support the fight against cancer.
