We are sad to announce that on August 3, 2024, at the age of 72, John Anthony Ballagh (Leesburg, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hamilton Craig and Doris Antoinette (Albrittain); his brothers, Craig and Michael; and his brother-in-law Tom.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Jane Pinkerton; his children, Jonathan Ballagh (Lisa), Erik Ballagh (Jessica), Benjamin Ballagh (Laura Kathryn) and Jordan Ballagh (Calvin); his grandchildren, Dylan, Connor, Carter, Reese, Finn, Jacob, Cole and Owen; and his siblings, Karen Downey, Mary Jean Hockman (Bob) and James Ballagh (Barbara). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Association on American Indian Affairs (indian-affairs.org), or by simply planting a tree in his honor.
