Dorothy Marie Brand Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Marie Brand of Leesburg, Virginia, who passed away on January 27, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sister Helen; and her parents, Caroline Marie Brand (Kaerger) and Otto Brand. She is survived by: her nieces, Linda Edmonston (Tom) of Moneta, VA and Diane Markart-Reddy (David) of Chantilly, VA.. She is also survived by her nieces, their spouses and friends.
She often won at the games she played and was awarded exciting prizes like hand towels, Kleenex and toilet paper.(remember, paper goods were scarce during the COVID 2020 pandemic) Dorothy attended Bible study, worked on crafts and also enjoyed listening to Elvis, the Rat Pack and most "oldies but goodies" type of music.
