He was predeceased by: his parents, Kala Rosenthal Herlands and Herbert Spencer Herlands. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Francis Herlands; his children, Michael Joseph Herlands (Lindsey) and Robin Herlands Cresiski (Cory); and his grandchildren, Audrey Herlands, Evan Herlands, Taylor Cresiski and Frances Cresiski. He is also survived by cousins, niece and nephews, other extended family, as well as old friends.
