She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Bernard and Nora Robinson Hughes; and her husband Fredrick Lee Steelman. She is survived by: her daughter Lisa McIntyre (Rick) of Cleveland; her grandson Erick McIntyre of Cleveland; and her siblings, Carolyn Crowe of Bristol and Darrell Hughes (Tenn) of Kingsport. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
