He was predeceased by: his parents, Truman Nathan and Florence Madeline Thorn Eighmey; his wife Millie Ruth Hodge Eighmey; his grandson Dominic Reppe; his son-in-law Kevin Blankenship; his sister Ruth Ann Burchett; and his nieces, Pamela Sue Burchett and Gloria Jean Burchett.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melanie Faye Obasi (Chris) of Castlewood and Phyllis Ann Blankenship of Lebanon; his grandsons, Johnny Ray Reppe, Andrew William Reppe, Tanner Scott Hess, Jayceleigh and Tyler Steven Hess; his great grandchildren, MaKaiya Lilly Ann Henderson, Valen David Scott Hess and Clementine Millie Rose Hess; and his caregiver Mike.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Honaker Funeral Home (4686 Redbud Hwy, Honaker, VA 24260). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
