With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melissa Kay Garrett of Lebanon, Virginia, who passed away on May 3, 2024 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Homer Lee Anderson and Cynthia Kay Artrip Anderson; her brother Stephen Anderson; and her father-in-law Alfred Garrett. She is survived by : her nieces and nephews, Ashlee and Julianna; her husband Eddie Garrett; her children, Jacob Garrett and Hazel Garrett; her siblings, Jackie Fraley (Tom), Mae Peck, Brenda Smith, Barbara Williams and Jackie Coleman; her mother-in-law Neva Garrett; and her siblings-in-law, Duane Garrett (Terri) and Leanne Snead.
