He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Barton and Taze Barton; his siblings, Iva Nell (Claude Stevens), Ella (Alden Wilson), Cora Sue "Tootsie" Booher, Aires T. "A. T." Barton and Ronald C. "R. C." Barton; and his brothers-in-law, Curtis Rasnake, Fred Musick and Omer Cook.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ella Bottomley (Ed), Charlene Barton Licata and Breana Fields (Tim); his grandchildren, Amber Hughes, Edward Bottomley, Ean Bottomley, Dalton Fields and Mia Fields; his great grandchildren, Giana Hughes, Taze Hughes and Kylie Hughes; and his siblings, Larry D. "L. D." Barton (Verna), Ruth Cook, Peggy Rasnake and Allie Musick.
